Autumnal Intentions

​​Here we are again- another fall. We are very late with our blog this month. I'm smiling because nature doesn't wait for things to be perfect, or wait until we're not so busy. Nature cycles on. Nature is not worried.

Let nature guide you this season. With the momentum behind the climate crisis, I am reminding readers to listen to my recently released podcast, Be A Force Of Nature. This podcast is about taking the lead from nature to support us through life's challenges. Let's stand up for the planet, demand our leaders take steps and implement changes.

Often, we have to think of the bigger picture and set intentions for us to institute positive change. This autumn, set intentions for how you want to show up through to the winter solstice. Ask yourself these questions:​​

For me, I want to show up with more gentleness and kindness. This fall, I choose to do what is required, sure, but I won't struggle and be stressed, and unkind to myself or others. I will complete my work, completed my courses, and play the piano and practice French. Everyday, I will go for a walk, even if it is just for 5 minutes. This season, I will focus on the people that I love. I will cook more, and nurture my body with healthy foods.

What about you? I encourage others to keep a journal. For me, it is best to write before bed. Write about the things that you appreciate, write about your feelings, and check in with these fall intentions. Or write out intentions on a post-it note, and keep in on your mirror or fridge door.

This is your year, this is your season to finally make a positive change.
