How Do I Pay?
Sessions are $125/hr for one-on-ones - this is the industry standard rate and all art materials are included. If you are low income or cannot afford the cost of sessions, then we do offer a sliding scale to those who need it, between the amounts of $65 and $125. Let's work together to get you the help you need with a price point that works.
Student Night!
For $20, come in for our student clinic on Saturday nights. Students of counselling and art therapy will support you! Please email for details and to register.
Insurance
Our counsellors at Art for Change are Registered Clinical Counsellors. Contact your provider and have them call the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counselors with our counsellor's registration no. They will confirm with your provider that we are registered, and you can then receive the level of coverage according to your plan, (i.e. 100% of 12 sessions/year or 80% unlimited sessions/year, etc). Please let us know if you plan to use insurance. Many plans cover the cost of counselling with a registered psychologist. At this time, the following plans are known to cover some or all of counselling provided by a RCC (Registered Clinical Counsellor):

-

-
ICBC (this is the case if you were involved in a Motor Vehicle Accident causing anxiety and trauma, etc. then you may get approval for counselling)
-
Workers Compensation Board (WCB) Also can depend on the client’s reasons for seeking counseling and requires official approval from the company.
